Duel

I post here cuz I see no one looks at English tavern posts for long time already. If you can speak English then you are welcomed, I'm looking for someone to have a duel with. I'd prefer a duel against a Knight or a beginner Baron in Heroes III lands. Since I don't  have any tourney to play at the moment, a duel would be nice (^_^)V

Dear Sir, unfortunately, duels are currently closed. They will be open when feud maps are done. I really hope this will happen in a couple of months. But no one knows for sure ;(
Play tournaments or unofficial duels by now...

Therefore, anyone fit the following conditions please accept my challenge:

1) up for a stake (artefacts/creatures/@, any) equal to 1000@,
2) up for an offline duel in Heroes III lands,
3) whose rank isn't higher than Baron in Heroes III lands, and
4) English level enough to read this, for I don't speak RUS at all

We play same initial save, anything else (map size, difficulty, win conditions, desired duel time etc.) I leave set up to opponent's choice.

Probably we should ask Sir Logan to repeat your request in the russian topic. I'm sure there are a lot of young knights who would be happy to play an unofficial duel with you, but it takes some time to find one.

Can't see anyone up for a duel yet? "Unfortunately" is just not a word for me. I'm playing main HMM III tourney and can wait abit more. And today I celebrate anniversary of my meeting with the girl I love (^_^)V

I ready to take you challenge in III Lands, but I have some wishes too:

1) Stake - 1000@ - OK;
2) Win Conditions - Expirience;
3) Map Size - L or XL;
4) Duel time - 14 days.
5) Duel can begin after preliminary result of Wild Lands-3.

I speak English is not so good, but I think, we'll can to understand one an-other.

I agree to accept you as my opponent in general, but I have some questions to you, so please make clear the following moments:

I) Please specify what did you mean by:

1) by "14 days" duel time:
  a) you want to compete for collected experience points during limited amount of time (14 days),
  b) you want our duel results to be submitted to "Shoftim" after 14 days;

2) by "win condition-experience" you mean that:
  a) we compete to achieve given experience level as soon as possible,
  b) we compete to collect as much as possible experience points in a given amount of time.

II) As you can see I don't have 1000@ in cash so I was talking about staking artefacts/creatures/@. I can stake some of my artifacts + @.

III) Please specify exact map size either L or XL cuz you said that, so you should choose only one size for we'll have only one duel.

IV) "Duel can begin after preliminary result of Wild Lands-3"-what is preliminary results? Do you mean we can start our duel after we have
received all rewards for last WL3 or after the tourney results are placed in The Hall of Fame, then which one is preliminary?

V) Please don't forget that we'll have to ask "Shoftim" for the same initial save to be sent to both of us, as I requested. This is because I don't want one of us to get in better position just of dice luck.

VI) If you can understand what I'm trying to say, then let's play a duel, otherwise I can't make sure if you are satisfied with what I imply here or not, same thing goes for the rules I stated. Let's make sure we have good understanding of each other before we request "Shoftim" to set up a duel between us (>_

I'm answering to all you questions.

I. 1)  b. - Our duel will continue 14 real days. Of course, Magistr Logan in "Shofteam" guild will declare about last day of our duel.
  2) b. - a-la tournament Wild Land, (which we both such like)  

II. Althougt I see, that you have more than 1500@ in this moment, I agree to Cloak of Undead King (it cost is 900@, if I don't mistake), and 100@, as a stake on duel.

III. If you trust to my tastes, I choose XL size (with underground).

IV. Yes, I was talk about Hall of Fame. And now, then result are published, duel can begin. I think, that today I'll write topic in "Shofteam" guild and our duel will be opened so soon, as it possible.

V. I write the topic in England part of tavern, www.heroesportal.net/tavern/?id=150631&lang=english and will be wait you confirm. Also I can write about our duel in Russian part, if it needs. (I'll ask from Magister Logan).

VI. As you see, sir cadavrer, I understood all your asks. And are you undestand me? All right? Then we can begin!

Dear Sir Zlatovlas,

I don't have 1583@, this is getting ridiculous. Those +1000@ were transferred to my account by Sir VAN after I posted my previous reply to this topic yesterday, and he wrote in the transfer comment that, I will have to repay him all those 1000@ back later. Since I haven't asked for any loan of that respected Sir, I returned him the whole sum back. 583@ is my in-game credits, and all this is my reward for taking part in different portal tourneys.

After that, I agree for a stake [Cloak of Undead King+100@] from my side.

Yes, I understood you in general, and let's find a winner between two of us o(^_-)O

This duel resulted in my victory. I bought a black dragon for my prize money. I shall make a break in duelling for now (^-^)v
