Hello, I see that you organize many tourneys for all parts of Heroes (1-6) called "Royal". I'm from Poland and it is difficult for me to understand this website (because of alphabet) and common google translator make so many errors that I can't name it "big help"
I played once in this page (other tourney: A for Archmage, I was second on the podium). So, could someone extract main rules of Royal tourney and basic difference between Royal and other tourney? I will be grateful! Greetings from Poland!  |

The main difference of this tournament - starting save (or starting saves in case of the company) is created independently by the player. It means that it is required not only to pass to the player the card, but also to prepare entry conditions for this pass.

Sir elantris, if you didn't understand anything of the above, disregard it. General rules of Royal tourney (from the rules page): In Royal Games players are divided by groups in 5 persons depending on date of victory save receiving (i.e. the first five saves take part in the first group, next five saves are in another and so on; the last group can be incomplete and even include one save). Every group results are examined like in Blitz-league, i.e. with the number of spent days, if it is equal, amount of obtained points is taken into account.In short: if a player finishes the campaing with the least number of spent days, he wins (as in most tourneys). Final score may be a tie-break. The most notable differences between Royal Games and other tourneys are: 1. Participants play a campaing, not a single map (except the Royal Games in Heroes 1). 2. No starting saves are provided. So, to play the campaing, you need to put its file in your "Maps" directory and start it from the menu (New Game > Campaing > Other). The difficulty must be set to Impossible (200%). For each map. You may start the campaing more than once to find the best starting conditions. |

Ok, I have one more question - in description of Landless tourney I red that there is posibility to play only for players who will play first time in this kind of tournament. It's only about "landless kind" or tourneys in general? As I said before I played once on this website in "other tourney" so can I play now in landless tourney?

Sir elantris, no, you can't as you have won offline feud in Heroes III lands (but strangely your rank is not updated to Knight - admins should fix this issue).

Sir elantris, there is no such rule as "there is posibility to play only for players who will play first time in this kind of tournament". One can participate in landless tourneys as long as he is, well, landless. And there are no limits on how much "Other" and other (sic) tourneys one can partake in. Whether you can partake in the current landless tourney is a surprisingly difficult question. Officially, being a landless is same as having no feuds, but due to some bureaucratic error you are still listed as "landless" despite having a feud. It will require magisters' help to fix that. And to tell that you can play in the current landless tourney, or that you can't (most likely), or both (sic). Don't worry, I'm already asking them in russian (below), so they won't

Не Магистр, но все же: Раса была выбрана позже начислений. Т.е де факто, он безземельный и может играть, де юре- рыцарь, и не может.

Тоже не магистр, но тоже могу сказать:
Турнир безземельных в 3ке ему играть нельзя ибо феод он уже завоевал в этих землях А то что у него этого феода фактически нет до сих пор - это в некоторой степени его собственная ошибка... Для получения феода надо открыть Земли, что сэр не сделал на момент завершения того турнира и в диалог с игроками и магистрами по этому вопросу не вступил... И да... надо теперь ждать Райтера и пинать(за то что пропадает) его чтобы феод нарисовал))) |

После того, как походу турнира были внесены изменения в регламент турнира, решил его не отыгрывать. На мой взгляд изменения внесли серьезную зависимость результата от варианта сейва и уменьшили число вариантов возможных прохождений. Времени на тупую генерацию необходимого сейва у меня нет.

А впечатление о кампании: Слишком зависима от генерации. Может и все КИ в таком формате, где 99% труда это сейв, сказать не могу, опыта нет. И не думаю, что будет. |

Лично мне процесс генерации стартового сейва совершенно не доставляет положительных эмоций. Просто это действие никак не связано с теми вещами, из-за которых вот уже много лет я люблю и играю в третьих героев. Мне, разумеется, понятно, что элемент соревнования никто не отменял, и обойтись без этого данный турнир не позволяет. Но я честно забил на генережку, после того как был окончательно прояснен вопрос со сложность, и некоторые получившиеся успешными, на мой взгляд, вариации старта оказались на помойке. После этого я кворумно отыграл турнир буквально на первом сейве и ни о чем не жалею. =)
