Sir Reanimator, I didn't find the English button fast enough ; I am a Sir and not a Lady, I chosen randomly during registration. I fixed all others things after I found "English" button, but impossible to change my gender.
Thanks a lot for this welcoming.
Just to be sure, in this tournament we play with Price of Loyalty (i red rules of tournaments). But what version? My Deluxe edition (=french gold edition) is version 1.0.0.1 (for HEROES2W.EXE), and 2.0 for product. I saw that Good old Game 's product version is 2.1 ... and I guess without any patchs (I saw some patch in english/russian forums ^^). That's the only questions I have. GodRage, I would recommend you to get the GoG-version of Heroes 2 Gold. Most probably you are trying to patch a French version of the game with the English patch, which obviously should not be done like that.

Ok, I got it ;
For french versions (and maybe other non-english versions): 1/ patch the PoL with the "2.0 to 2.1" patch. 2/ Download the .exe of Good old Game 3/ run the GoG .exe for playing game The game will be totally translated in English, with no return possible to previous 2.0 configuration. (for the moment, maybe later someone will make a patch or so to have it in your native language). |

The thing is, theses AGG files was mine, if I put them back to my folder, I will "loose" the improvements of the 2.1 patch. (if the patched changed something in the AGG files). I should better (hexa)edit my files and translate them into french and propose theses new "naked 2.1 files" on my website ; yes it's me who made homm2.free.fr, I plan to add Russian ability in my guest-book (Livre d'or)..if someone can give me the russian translation hehe.. but I'm not here for that.). I may do that Next month. |
