The hot summer is long over. But life in the Heroes Lands continues on it’s own, despite all odds. And the English-speaking part is finally beginning to gain it’s strength – we’re glad to announce that a first knight has emerged there at last! Sir Faenad, having taken the third place in the last Landless Tourney at Heroes Lands IV, have received himself a well-earned feud. So, let’s hope he will keep it up!
Also, the second CH tourney is open. For those who doesn’t know yet, I shall remind that it’s a special tourney for non-russian-speakers only. So, it’s a very good opportunity for our landless inhabitants to join the ranks of our Knighthood along with sir Faenad. Good luck, sirs and ladies!
A well known crusader, sir Logan Peacekeeper, coordinator of the Order of the Paladins, at last, had been initiated as a Junior Magister. The hearts of the inhabitants were filled with joy, because almost everyone knew, how much has sir Logan done for this lands. It seemed that nothing could spoil our serene and pleasant life... but, alas, the bad news always come unexpectedly. A mighty thunderstorm broke out over the Lands...
Just a few days have come since sir Logan had become a Junior Magister. But suddenly he made a very strange statement in the Russian Tavern. He called himself an inveterate sinner and made a vow to keep silent in the tavern for a week to redeem his sins. No one knew nothing about the reasons of such an action, neither did anyone know anything about any sir Logan’s sins. Everyone was surprised, but decided to wait for a week and see...
But, apparently, sir Logan decided that he doesn’t need a whole week to decide his own fate. The very next night his next his next statement plunged us into shock and despair:
“Dear friends! Inhabitants of the Lands! All, who knew me, who believed me, with whom I communicated...
I’m leaving the Portal. Leaving forever, on very personal reasons, of which I, alas, can’t speak, leaving, because I couldn’t act in other way...”
No one could understand, what was happening. No one could even believe his or her eyes... but it was true. Sir Logan Peacekeeper is no more. His restless spirit has left the Lands, and we could only hope that he will return some day, maybe in some other incarnation... Anyway, we shall always remember you, sir Logan!
But... the show must go on. The untimely decease of a great paladin would inevitably leave it’s imprint in our souls, but our lives isn’t over yet.. And if any other storms are yet to come to the Heroes Lands during this autumn, than we’d better be ready to withstand them...
