I will tell you the legend of the great warrior Ralmfester, who, at the cost of his life, defeated the Man'Kru Horde. And he did not let evil triumph over the world.
It happened a long time ago. When the Lenzurma mountains just rose from the bowels of the earth. When the sun-bearing son of the ruler Ukkarn - Dormentor, just fell to earth from heaven. When the queen of the sea depths - Panukia, had just destroyed the recalcitrant lizard people along with their mainland, drowning in the depths of her possessions.
It was on the Saffai mainland. the once scattered barbarian tribes of the South Shore suddenly united and invaded with a huge army deep into the mainland, plundering and destroying everything in their path. The once rich and fertile lands turned into a scorched desert in the blink of an eye. This army was led by the newly minted necromancer Man'Kru, who swore to avenge his father's death. Anger and a sense of loss of his father clouded his eyes, preventing him from understanding what had happened.
His father, Samroy, was a renowned ranger in the army of King Dorn, who had repeatedly gone on campaigns against the Renegades - necromancers who hid in the mountains of Prokum. One wicked day, luck turned away from him. Reflecting the counterattack of the undead, in the gorge of the Gloomy Walls, he stumbled and fell into the abyss. Colleagues, who were the legendary paladin Cianthor and the crusader Minlok, told Sadin's family (at that time the Man'Kru were still called Sadin) about how it all happened. Sadin is the only one who did not believe his father's old friends, telling them to their face that they betrayed him and left home.
Over the next ten years, the necromancers were defeated. The survivors fled across the southern seas to the Pasmon mainland. Where they organized a new clan - the Fading Light.
After ten years, the kingdom of Dornia broke up into principalities. The reason was the death of the king. As a result of a short war for the right to own a large piece, three of the four heirs died, the newly-made king Pakhil was unable to retain power. The principalities of Hurr and Mantara, the counties of Wolandith and Shelivvain were formed.
From the once united country of Dornia, only a small piece remained, in which Pakhil donkey settled. twenty-seven years old, thirty-five-year-old Sadin returned. But this was no longer that kind, mischievous boy.
Many years spent in the caves of the Fading Ones taught him how to kill, torture, maim, not spare the weak and the sick. Blood, only the blood of enemies, former friends of his father is the goal of his mission.
The barbarians united reluctantly, remembering past battles with the old king. You can’t take a fortress on the fly, and one that is located in the mountains is even more so. But Man'Kru was not so simple either. Having proved to the barbarians that he is capable of taking the mountain fortress, and not in words, but in deeds, he destroyed the Dragon Abode. The trick was that the three dragon protectors were not in the city, they went to different parts of the kingdom with strange tasks, and returning, feeling something was wrong, they died from a strange poison, not reaching the fortress. The only defender of the fortress, the dragon Kemarrion, could not help the defenders. So Man'Kru united the barbarians. In three months, three port cities fell - Sukhkhey, Radam and Tov. The counties of Walendith and Shelivwein later fell. The hated "traitors" - Tsiantor and Minlok were executed. Further, the path of the necromancer, dissatisfied with revenge, ran through the island of Gysot, where his invasion actually ended.
The crusader Ralmfester, in the service of Prince Vaska , defended the borders of the principality from barbarians for quite a long time and reliably. Not a very large, but skillful army came out to meet the Horde, which met the army of Man'Kru in the mountains of Gysot Island. A well-chosen position did good harm to the enemy, the horde thinned out by almost half. But the cunning necromancer made his way to the rear with a handful of berserkers and attacked the crusader.
In this decisive battle, everyone learned what kind of strange poison killed the dragons and where the necromancer took his power. The Man'Kru concocted a horrific artifact by combining the ancient artifacts of fire and cold in a small vessel and filling them with the blood of sea monsters. This artifact had great power, helping the necromancer to perform his dark spells. After the first spells of Man'Kru, all the generals of the crusader were killed, but the necromancer had no idea about the abilities of Ralmfester. In a matter of moments, the knight laid down all the berserkers and was close to the enemy. Man'Kruu was still faster, in the blink of an eye the crusader began to age, but the willpower of the great warrior directed the sword exactly at the necromancer's artifact.
A terrible explosion shook the island, a giant fiery tornado destroyed the entire island. At the site of the explosion, a volcano appeared, which has been standing for several centuries at the site of a terrible battle.
