The map is empty and unfinished! The cities are close together, some can be reached in less than a turn. The author has not blocked spells and artifacts, fly / dd makes it much easier to jump from place to place. Shipwreck Survivor gave me a tome of earth magic and spellbinder's hat (I got it in the second week!). The arrangement of banks, dwellings and mines seems quite accidental. The underground is empty. I also found two places blocked by background elements (no passage).
