Определённо карта заслуживает внимание потому что учитывая даже что я не фанат подобного жанра я все равно получил удовольствие в начале игры. ее интересно будет играть тем кто фанат the empire of the world или парагона что первой части, что второй. хорошая карта в подобном жанре. плюс!

Прекрасная карта, с удовольствием играл в нее несколько вечеров, есть некоторые совершенно уникальные моменты.И да, все как я люблю - развиваешься на своей территории и когда считаешь нужным - отправляешься к врагу. Но тут время работает против вас, поэтому неспешно расстраиваться не стоит, поторапливайтесь! И небольшая подсказка для тех, у кого вызывают проблемы сильные розовый\коричневый с 90+ статами - ваша цель по началу не уничтожить их, а обойдя их хитростью и т п как можно скорее увеличивать свои статы до сопоставимых с врагами значений, ну а потом можно будет вернуться и разобраться, при разнице в статах менее 10 поинтов это не представляет сложности. Автору спасибо за достойный и продуманный шедевр картостроения!

maybe you didnt test in HOTA and people has HOTA now!)

the concept is pleasent , thats by favourite scenario type, but...

3 months and 2 weeks past , i went trough to orange...and didnt got any second chance!

the main hero attacked me , he was much stronger than me but his army was normal, but...

he got cape of silence and i had just fought for precious slow against crystal dragons!what for?

ok i beat him even if i loose some precious army(cause i cant use my secret super weapon,the slow spell!)but...

second attack from second stronger hero? with 5 times my army.

so even if i retreat like i hear people say so often(do they pay to keep their army and with what? IMF?) whats the point ? theres nothing to keep enemy out of my territory.

anyway before i realize what was going to happen , iwas going to wright about what a waste of time in game is the damn portals system.

im sorry i wont try anymore.

Hi

Most of the players managed to win this map. But still, there are some who didn't.

I'm thinking about making and easy version. I'm collecting opinions, what should be changed (besides downgrading orange and pink heroes)?

Hi. I am not professional player but I think this map was the best I've ever played. Thanks a lot!

I do not see the problem if a red player do not open the gate because if you conquer another player's tent you can go to the red player by using another player's portal.

Before starting I added teams (because I played with wife) by connecting three other players (purple with two magical) into one team. And deleted 8 months condition, as we could not do it before 8 months. We played two times both at highest difficulty. First time we cheated and used our portals to get to other players (not orange/pink) and unblocked running heroes like Decca to conquer castles easier. Second time we did not cheat with portals and deleted running heroes and it was more challenging. But the second team (purple+2magical) cheated :) and increased highly their stats at one anothers locations. However it did not make them much competitive. I would add boosts to them. I used fantom+archangel tactic with water magic. We liked much the idea of Necropolises when you need to conquer all the buildings around and then to attack hiddenly from the fog or to put a secondary hero as a trap to draw attention of Isra/Ksenon. I would recommend to delete the artifact a medal granting moral and immunity against blindness, berserk etc. Because it is rather difficult to find a black sphere which is needed principally to use blindness on iphrites or dead but both Isra and Ksenon weared this medal both times we played so finding the sphere did not make sense.

Thank You for positive reponse.

This map wasn't tested for alliance, so there might be some inconvenience. As You mentioned, purple+2magical used it to their advantage. But I see no objections to try playing in alliance ;) Might be also fun to try it.

I'm also thinking about making an easy version. Most players managed to win, but still there are some, who had trouble and let it go. That's why, I would like You to write me, what would You change if You had to make this map into an easy version for beginer players.

1) I would delete Badge of Courage (I wrote about it last time, now I found the right English name). This seemed logical for me, otherwise there is no point in finding black sphere (orb of vulnerability) which is hard to find. Both times I played both strongest heroes wore Badge of Courage. So in this case if the player finds the Orb it will be easier to combat with both orange and pink by using blindness.

2) the main problem were primary characteristics of the two strongest heroes especially Inferno. Both times I played, Inferno one had 4*99 parameters approaching 8 months. He also has elixir of life which makes him too strong. Of course I also used hit and run tactics before the last battle to make him weaker. It was interesting to develop tactics to conquer their cities (by using fog or creating my secondary heroes, otherwise they use town portal) to catch their heroes into hit and run tactics. But if you hold 8 months condition it can become challenging. The second time I played it was easy because I was lucky Inferno main hero stood just one cell near my castle and I could hit him many times. But if I was less lucky it would have taken much more time. Maybe there is sense in enabling Explosion in orange and pink castles to get hit and run easier. Or just reduce the initial parameters of the strongest heroes.

3) at the same time as i mentioned other computer players seemed not competitive. The first idea is to give them boosts (creatures and gold). But I loved so much that pink and orange did not have enormous number of creatures that I am afraid the boost for other players would harm the balance. But the point is that secondary hero of orange/pink with parameters 50-70 can hit the strongest of other players without problem. So maybe creating an one time event just near the main castle, active for computer players giving +10 or +20 to all parameters would make them more competitive. But this also can kill the current balance because now at 200% difficulty the moment when the computer players come out to orange/pink is good. And with such event they will come out earlier and will be defeated by orange/pink (in a more competitive way but however) earlier.

Sorry, it was more like the ideas aloud than real suggestions. In general I think if you hold 8 months condition the map is very challenging and luckiness dependant. If there is none it is not easy but well balanced and you can take your time to understand its specificities, develop tactics. You have 4 towns and the chance that computer will conquer all of them fast is rather low. I think it is impossible to remake it for real beginners (make orange and pink heroes much weaker, enable more spells, enable running heroes like Decca when computer does not use town portal and does not expect you to conquer the town etc.) and at the same time hold the spirit of the map.

You've got the same ideas, that I do. I downgrade orange/pink heroes, took out some of their artifacts and gave a bonus for red/blue/purple/teal/tan (extra creatures available only for cpu).

But like You predicted, the map completely lost its spirit.

That's why I choose not to share this "easy version".

Прикольная карта, прошел в последний допустимый день, вроде 844. Согласен с предыдущем комментатором, что когда попадаешь в общую зону, то сразу получаешь люлей) но будущего игрока это не должно расстраивать.

Хоть я и не прошел карту до конца, но уже могу делать выводы по карте. Я считаю эту карту хорошей, она подходит что бы расслабиться перед сном. Далее я опишу немного геймплей и некоторые моменты.


Вы выбираете один из четырех цветов, каждый соответствует своей стихии, и заклинания в башне магов будут только той стихии, которую вы выберете. Я по незнанию взял бирюзовый(воздух), играл за темницу - Малекита( спец по волшебству), 200%.


Неспешно фармил локации, пока не дошел до одного момента. Расти по статам/уровню я больше не могу. А могу я идти только в общую зону, где бегают монстры по 60+ статов. А у меня на тот момент было около 30 статов. Пришлось идти и хитэндранить.


К своим "стихийным противникам", компам-людям нельзя пройти(по крайней мере я не нашел возможности) пока они не откроют проход в общую зону и новых нормальных заклинаний я найти не мог.


Так же некоторые заклинания переоценены, например я до сих пор не могу взять воскрешение, хоть оно мне теперь уже совершенно не нужно.

You are right, some spells are banned (I 'm sure I blocked armageddon, implosion, berserk, resurrection, water walk, summon/scuttle boat, fly and dimension).

What do You thin about orange / pink? Are they too strong and overpower You?

I used "hit and run" strategy, they have no shackles.


And in my game, red player did not open guards (10lvl). He lost exp and got stuck in starting area.

You can send saves if you like. But I believe you. I talked to users from Jaskinia Behemota (Polish website for Heroes), they also see this problem. We are wondering, because the map was made and tested by SoD. And you all play on HotA. Maybe this problem is because to the differences in AI between SoD and HotA?

Also, please write which colour, town and difficulty did You play and was it hard for You or not (this will help me make better maps in the future, if I know the average player skills)?
