I opened the door of Tavern a bit trembling. It was my first visit of a big party not like just a guest but like a journalist. Can you imagine a scorpicore playing a journalist? But when I entered… all my fears were forgotten, and I stood still admiringly.
In honour of engagement Tavern was cleaned and decorated with a lot of flowers and other wonderful things. Candles were burning all around and carved tables were served with garnet services. The air was full of different smells, not only of flowers and candles but also of grilled meat, baked vegetables, roasted chickens and quails, and other presents of cooks. And in the middle there was a place left for dance. And beautiful Dragoness Diamant and Devil Remorse (as you exactly has understood, our bride and groom) were meeting their guests.
There were a lot of guests, who had come to congratulate a happy couple. I saw Lady Mamzel and Sir Brig, Sir Dassenfeg and Lady Stillness, and even Magister Logan Warbringer and his wife were happy to visit party.
And then a feast started. With a mysterious smile Sir Liberty Fighter took out … two wonderful wedding rings with the emerald called “The Heart of Tantalia”. The Devil took them, put it on a finger of his love and ask: “Would you marry me?” Dragoness’ eyes were shining. I had never seen such happy eyes before. “Yes, my honey, my love, I would…”
And after that there was a lot of music and dances. I was gliding among the guests, listening to their chats, and making some notes in my mind. Nymphs were weaving a round dance; they were dancing and calmly singing names of lovers…
Suddenly, Lady Mamzel invited everybody to the yard. I thing, it’s impossible to describe all miracles, we saw there. Fireworks and magic rainbow, heart-shaped clouds and other, other, other…
But the most beautiful present made Sir Dassenfeg. It was a pair of shoes done of Moonstone, with wonderful legend. And they fitted and suited the bride very much.
And finally Sir Dassenfeg wrote for engaged couple an exciting poem.
So now, we all are looking forward for a wedding.
